McDonald’s Snack Wrap Brings Back After 9-Year Wait

Customers haven’t been able to drive through McDonald’s, roll down their car window, and leave with what many McDonald’s devotees consider to be the best handheld device – the Snack Wrap – for years. Since McDonald’s eliminated the Snack Wrap from most of its menus in 2016 and completely phased it out in 2020, customers have been begging for its reintroduction.
McDonald’s USA president Joe Erlinger hinted on “Good Morning America” at the end of last year that the popular snack wraps would make a comeback sometime in 2025. Still, he didn’t specify when leaving fans – who can’t seem to be happy without crispy chicken strips wrapped in a tortilla – in excruciating suspense.
We made progress when Mickey D’s reintroduced McCrispy Strips in early May, bringing back the essential ingredient needed to manufacture its Snack Wraps: chicken tenders. McDonald’s has officially confirmed when Snack Wraps will return to menus after a nine-year absence.
McDonald’s snack wraps will be back in July 2025
On July 10, McDonald’s Snack Wraps will return to its locations, the company announced on Instagram.
The wrap stuffed with crispy chicken, shredded cheese, lettuce, and your preferred sauce will be back in your hands in a little more than a month. Additionally, McDonald’s declared that the Spicy and Ranch snack wraps would be returning.
The Ranch Snack Wrap has – you got it – ranch dressing on top, while the Spicy Snack Wrap has the same habanero Spicy Pepper Sauce as the Spicy McCrispy sandwich.
McDonald’s had first hinted that the popular menu item would be back on “0x.14.2025.” It appears that the Snack Wraps will be back sooner than anticipated.
Additionally, I had my boss bring it back for you earlier. The Instagram post from McDonald’s stated, “Snack wrap is available 07.10.”

The announcement was made just one day after Popeyes declared that chicken wraps would be joining its summer menu. Did the competition cause McDonald’s to burn? Perhaps, but we don’t mind anything that gets the Snack Wrap back into our lives as soon as possible.
Since McDonald’s suddenly removed the snack wrap from its menu in 2016, we understand that some of you lovers might still have unanswered resentment toward the fast food chain. Mickey D’s said that the Snack Wraps are here to stay, much like the McCrispy Strips, so there’s no need to panic.
This is the official start of the journey to our first Snack Wrap in nine years!
