As per earlier reports, these models could be released at a second Galaxy Unpacked event later this year. In February 2022, the Galaxy Tab S8 series was released which comprised Galaxy Tab S8+, Galaxy Tab S8, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra models. A new report says some vital specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 device have been suggested.
Made by Samsung SDI, The Li-ion battery of the Galaxy Tab S9 series has part number EB-BX716ABY, as per a recent application found by GalaxyClub on the website of the Chinese agency CQC.
The report says the battery unit has a capacity of 8,160mAh, ensuring that the S9 series will get a larger battery than its predecessors S8 and S7 series.
The respective battery capacity of S7 and S8 had a rated capacity of 7, 760mAh which converted to a “typical” capacity of 8, 000mAh.
The report, therefore, contends that if the rated capacity of the battery of the S9 is 8, 160mAh, the typical capacity will likely be between 8, 400mAh and 8, 500mAh. The specification of the battery of the Galaxy Tab S9+ or Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra models is unknown still.
