Meta Platforms to Pay Top Creators to Post on Facebook
Meta launched a new program on Wednesday to bring TikTok and YouTube creators to Facebook with guaranteed pay and better reach.
The Creator Fast Track initiative offers monthly payments and increased exposure to influencers with large followings. Creators with at least 100,000 followers on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube can earn $1,000 per month. Those with over 1 million followers can earn up to $3,000 monthly.
In an interview with CNBC, Yair Livne, the vice president of product at Facebook Creators stated that establishing oneself could be challenging or even frightening. This program is aimed at fulfilling that requirement.
The assured payments will take place after three months although Livne stated that creators will become members of Facebook Content Monetization platform and will always enjoy a reach boost.
Meta Launches Creator Fast Track to Attract Influencers
The fact that Meta is making the announcement is an indication that it will target this group of users once again.
Meta promised up to 3 billion dollars to creators by 2025, which is 35 percent higher than the amount in 2024. Of this, 60 percent went to Reels with the rest of the payments going to other formats.
Facebook has a great number of over 3 billion users, yet it has been having issues attracting creators, who are more attracted to Tik Tok and YouTube. This show is the second in a plan of attracting established audiences to the platform and to grow original content.
Creators must meet specific eligibility requirements to join the program. They need to post at least 15 Reels on Facebook within 30 days. The content must be shared across at least 10 different days. All posts should be original and not copied. However, AI-generated content is allowed if it is created by the author.
Facebook’s Monetization Push and Creator Requirements
Facebook provides a number of ways through which creators can make money. They may apply subscriptions, tipping, brand deals as well as Facebook Content Monetization. The program gives creators who fulfill certain engagement criteria short and long videos, stories, photos, and text posts.
Meta Platforms is adding new metrics to Facebook Content Monetization. These metrics show creators which views qualify for payouts. They also provide estimated earnings rates. In addition, they explain why some views do not qualify.
I simply do not believe that Facebook is considered the prime place by many creators nowadays. That opens a massive arbitrage opportunity, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg told last March on The Colin and Samir Show.
Mark Zuckerberg also shared his vision to revive the original spirit of Facebook. He referred to it as “OG Facebook.”

Meta’s Strategy to Revive Facebook Engagement
Since then, the company has introduced a Friends tab for more personal content. It has also changed how creators are paid. The platform moved from a revenue-sharing model to one based on engagement.
Meta is betting on upfront payments and wider distribution to boost activity on Facebook. The company aims to attract creators facing inconsistent earnings across platforms.
“We want every creator to see Facebook as their home and a must-use platform,” Livne said. “We believe monetization plays a key role in that vision.”
